Craig Dickens is a true serial entrepreneur, CEO, certified M&A advisor, investment banker and angel investor. Having participated in virtually every kind of business dynamic from start-up to IPO, merger to acquisition, Craig now serves as CEO of the Merit Harbor Group and guides fellow entrepreneurs, CEOs and shareholders toward a path to profitable growth, business optimization, and profitable exit.
Craig has started or acquired 14 businesses across diverse sectors, creating over $500mm in enterprise value, and has first-hand knowledge and experience in raising capital across several platforms. He executed several buy-side and sell-side M&A events before deciding to help other business owners, boards and shareholders create and capture value.
Craig serves as Partner for the Pacific Northwest division (WA, OR, ID, AK, WY, MT) of OfferBoard – Corporate Finance Group. Merit Harbor, in coordination with OfferBoard is adding investment banking and advising capabilities to meet the needs of middle-market companies from $5mm-$200mm.
Dale Payne / CFO & Founder
Dale has over 25 years of hands-on experience in various financial, accounting and operational positions across multiple industries. He is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with significant experience in financial planning & analysis and corporate finance. He also has broader business experience having worked as a general manager and director of operations for several industry-leading companies.
As a key member of multiple senior management teams, Dale created over $1.7 billion of new enterprise value by focusing on business processes to improve profitability (EBITDA), free cash flow and business expansion.
Dale’s M&A experience and industry expertise includes professional services, international manufacturing, distribution and wholesale automotive, wood & building products, food & beverage, apparel, and other consumer products as well as various supply chain businesses and service firms.

As Chief Development Officer for Merit Harbor, Brian actively develops and maintains long standing relationships with various companies, private equity firms, family offices, and works in partnership with individual and institutional capital partners. When advising family-run or founder-run businesses, Brian’s ability to listen and ascertain true needs and desires often translates into a trusted relationship that transcend business.
Brian Haynes is a senior executive with more than 13 years of experience in strategic development. He specializes in assisting lower middle market companies.
Brian’s personal success with firms from small start-ups to well-established 100-year-old companies gives him a unique understanding to creating and managing generational wealth and navigating the complexities of family run businesses.
Throughout his career, Brian has been an active volunteer and currently holds leadership positions with not-for-profit and philanthropic organizations focused on the success of business, health, and education in the region. He has been selected to serve on numerous boards with corporations and not-for-profit organizations including Tacoma Angel Network, Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber of Commerce.
Brian Hart is Chief Marketing Officer at Merit Harbor Group. His 30 years of experience in the custom manufacturing, graphic communications, and retail marketplace have positioned him as a highly regarded industry specialist. During his professional career he has been involved with start-ups, privately held companies, and small and medium private equity-based firms.
